"On the first december we went to the farm of Pontoise. First : a farmer presented different family or classification of animals , second we visited the farm : we saw our animal , and we ate in front of the farm. It was a cool and interesting day"

" On Thursday, we went with the class to the educational farm of Pontoise ! Our task was to find our secret animal ! Everybody had a name that corresponded to one animal on the farm, but, which one ? Nobody knew which animal was his or hers ! We needed too to take the tour and learn more about the animals on the farm ! That was the intent of our little field trip ! And, at our great surprise, we began with some games about the animals and had to answer questions, such as : what do they eat ? Is it a domestical animal or not… ? I found this part of the day amazing ; it was interesting to discuss these topics with my classmates. After, we got to meet two animals, Turbo a white chinchilla, and a yellow bird, Doudou ! They were really cute ; it was one of my favourite parts of the day ! After we visited the farm and saw a major part of the animals on the farm. My secret animal was at the end of the tour, his name is Sulky, at the beginning I was thinking it was a name for a cute and tiny donkey, but, to my biggest surprise it was a big and a beautiful horse (it wasn’t called a stallion gelding because Sulky is neutered). I was really proud ! So that was what we experienced ! I found this part of the day really relaxing, stroking and cuddling the animals, learning more about them… And, at the end of the day my task was accomplished ! Hurray ! I really appreciated this field trip ! Thank you Erasmus+ and the Wake Up project ! " Justine

"At the farm, I discovered several species of animals that i had not seen yet. Especially a chinchilla that was really cute. I found the visit interesting, some species were funny like : pigs, and Trump (a duck) (and chinchilla). We walked a lot to see the farm but I think that was good because we saw all of the farm. My animal was a goat (name Chouchen). It was a grandmother ; it has a daughter and a granddaughter. I found it pretty and learned that goats love to be pet between horns bacause they can’t do it alone. So as soon as they come out, they rub the trees to scratch at this part. I think that an intersting information"

"I found this outing at the educational farm very cool because I discovered some animals’ species which I didn’t know like the chinchilla or parrot. I also learned several things about some of the animals such as, for example, the rabbit isn’t a rodent but a lagomorph. But the little problem was that the temperature wasn’t very hot, we didn’t move a lot, so I was cold. The intervener Lucile was nice and her explanations were clear. I had a good time with my animal that I chose before the outing. This animal is a female rabbit. Her name is Pollen, she is 5 years old. When I took her in my arms, she kept calm, and she was very soft."
